What a night! What a gift! Art Odyssey was selected by the Nerdery to have a team of web pros at our service for 24 hours in a row. Then during the Nerdery Overnight Website Challenge the technology nerds teams compete to build the best website for their adopted non-profit in only 24 hours. The result of the Phoenix 2017 Overnight Website Challenge was many tired people and four awesome websites.
Art Odyssey was lucky to be paired with the Phoenix digital agency, AKOS, who gave up a full day of their lives to put the best digital design and technology practices into place for Art Odyssey. With coaching from Tia Stokes of Meaningful Training we arrived at CO+HOOTS first thing on a Saturday morning ready to work. With coffee in hand we were charged with filling post-it notes with as many needs, wants, and ideas for Art Odyssey during the three minutes of Gwen Stefani‘s “Hollaback Girl”. Then AKOS got to work designing our new logo and building a website with new tools like volunteer resources and a children’s art gallery. We are so thankful for our new website and know that this gift will help us bring art enrichment to more children in more schools in the greater Phoenix area!
